The official HCDC contact page is the source for the main facility number. Use HCDC for present jail custody, the intake record, and questions about a booking photograph created at the jail. Its public pages do not state regular records-office hours, a booking-photo fee, or guaranteed response time, so confirm those points directly.

- For a mugshot, current jail entry, booking record, recent-arrest source, or lawful record-correction path, begin with the Hardin County booking hub and then contact HCDC or the arresting agency.
- For release status or an alert, use HCDC VINE. The county Criminal Division also directs release questions to VINE.
- For a court date or disposition, contact the Hardin Circuit Court Clerk at (270) 766-5000. Published office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., with phones answered until 3:30 p.m.
- For a city police incident report, contact Elizabethtown, Radcliff, or Vine Grove Police rather than treating HCDC as the creator of the municipal report.
- For a sentenced or supervised Kentucky offender, use the Kentucky Department of Corrections KOOL search. It is not a recent county-booking roster.
- For federal custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. Neither replaces HCDC for county custody.
